The outdoor fire pits provided a great communal area for evening relaxation, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
The bathroom lacked adequate maintenance, with visible issues like a loose toilet and drainage problems, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

The beds were comfortable, but the shower barely worked and leaked everywhere.

The location by the lake offered amazing views.
The bathroom's floor felt dangerously unstable, and I had to endure the sight of black mold in the corners. The staff showed no concern when I reported these issues, and I felt completely ignored. I expected much more care for my $130-a-night stay, but instead, I encountered disrespect and a lack of urgency in addressing urgent problems.

comfortable, cozy, clean
I had a fantastic stay in a recently remodeled Budget Double Room that was clean. The comfortable beds made for a restful night, and I loved how close the hotel was to the water, offering very nice views. The decor featured beautiful wood accents, adding a warm touch to the cozy atmosphere.
100% recommend 😊❤️

missingWrote a review on Sept 20beautiful lakeoutdoor fire pitsclean roomold furniturelow water pressure
Bells Melody Motel had a few redeeming qualities that made my stay somewhat enjoyable. The location right on Lake Huron allowed for stunning views, especially during sunset. The outdoor fire pits provided a nice communal area for guests to relax in the evenings. The room was quite clean, which I appreciated. However, it was outdated, with furniture reminiscent of the 1950s. The shower barely worked, with hardly any water pressure. There was a lack of amenities, such as no coffee maker and only one outlet in the entire room, making it challenging to charge devices. The air conditioning unit was old and not very effective. I also had issues with a broken TV that took way too long to be fixed. For what I paid, I expected a bit more in terms of comfort and modern convenience. If you're looking for a budget option near the lake with decent cleanliness, this could work. But don't expect much else.

Two comfortable beds provided a decent night’s sleep. The beach access made for enjoyable lakefront time.
The refrigerator in the room didn't work, which was a hassle during our stay. Carpeting showed age, with noticeable stains, and the bathroom lacked proper cleanliness, including mold in several corners. The air conditioning unit was loud and ineffective, making the room uncomfortable at times.

The Budget Double Room was pretty cozy and clean, which was a nice surprise. The beds were really comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. I loved the wood accents in the room and how close we were to the water. However, the shower had weak pressure, and there were a few stains on the floor that need attention. But for a budget place, it fit the bill nicely!

would book here again
The Budget Double Room was nice with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a TV for entertainment. Enjoyed having a microwave and refrigerator, too. The indoor and outdoor pools looked inviting, even though we didn’t use them. The hot tub area appeared cozy for relaxing after a day of exploring.
